We have had unbelievably bad weather over the last few weeks. Thank you to the stewards that turned up, who helped us fill a few bags with litter; it all helps.
We can’t believe the dumping and burning of tyres and wire discovered by Helen and Chloe, near the pigeon cot area and the man moel road entrance. We need some litter champions in that back lane behind Beaufort Road!
The little copse behind the field on the left where we are going to plant on Tuesday is really pretty. There are beds of wild strawberries underfoot, and once the groundsheet, bottles, cans, pallets, and barbed wire are removed, it is quite lovely, even in the rain.
We have lots of other things going on as well. Please message or email Susy if you have availability and are interested in volunteering with us at info@sirhowyhillwoodlands.co.uk.
